Ans. Summer Seal is a solar heat reflective paint that reflects 90% of
IR and UV rays from Sun. This result in lesser heat absorption and thus creates
a better inside temperature in your building premises. With a cooler
environment it helps boost up work-ability in summers, saves your electricity
bill and increases life of surface as it reduces surface degradation caused by
heat expansion.

Q2. How much area can be painted bySummer Seal in 1litre?

Ans. 1 Litre covers 30 square feet in 2 coats. To calculate the amount
of paint required:-

• Calculate
  the total area in sq. ft. For ex-15,000 sq. ft.
• Divide
  the area by 30 as per coverage ratio.
• So
  the paint required= 500 Litres.

Q3. Does my roof qualify for a roof coating?

Ans. Surfaces like RCC, GI sheet, polycarbonate, asbestos, tiles, etc.

Q4. How to apply Summer Seal Paint?

Ans. There are several steps to be followed before
coating the roof.

Repair and Cleaning

• • Do 
    any patch work and repair if needed and let stand for another 24 hours.
  • Clean
    the roof very well with a scrubber, power washer, garden hose, and push
    broom.
  • Remove
    all the accumulated dirt and let it dry for 24 hours.
• Painting
  Process
  • Dilute
    the paint with 25-40% portable water.
  • Use
    brush or roller with a spread rate of 30 sq ft per Litre in two coats.
    One litre of material has to be consumed in two coats for best
    performance.
  • Always
    wait 4 hours in between coats.

Q5. How to clean the painted roof?

Ans. SUMMER SEAL paint is cleanable with normal rain or
portable water. Clean the dust with broom stick and wash with water as needed.

Q6. My metal roof is too rusty. Is it too late?

Ans. In case of roof having rust, impossible is nothing, the work can
be done post using VIN-O-RUST. For rusty surface, clean the area with water to
remove dust and dirt and apply a VIN-O-RUST a rust convertor over the affected
area. Wait for the surface to dry for next 24-48 hours. Now you can start
painting with Summer Seal and cherish the new surface with performance.
